dc.description.abstractIn a journey of environmental awakening, and emerging technologies regarding power generation and power systems, power quality is getting affected, and the reliability of the system is getting impaired. Due to these issues created, power quality should get better attention not only in industries but also in universities. This thesis presents a way for students to be more involved in their power quality course. A virtual lab is designed for the creation of power quality issues, and computing the measures related to power quality standards using a graphical user interface in Matlab/Simulink. This virtual lab is supplemented by experiments, to be conducted by students, related to various cases of power quality. Moreover, a guide for the lab is also presented so the user is able to manipulate it.en_US
