dc.description.abstract | This thesis studies a power system voltage stability using different bus and line indices based on line voltage stability and bus voltage stability. These indices such as, Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI), LQP Index, and Voltage Collapse Point Indicator (VCPI), were tested in 14-bus system, 30-bus system, and 114-bus system. The indices where computed using MATLAB in order to discusses their performance in a power system. Same as, bus indices such as, L index, Voltage Collapse Indicator (VCI), and Stability Index (SI), all indices were tested. Testing all indices lead to good optimization in finding the weakest cluster area in a power system using the Rank technique. A comparison for all indices is done in order to found the index who has the best performance according to their accuracy, speed and control. | en_US |
