Abstract:
Lebanon is a country with a market economy that attracts and supports foreign investors to launch new businesses. The Lebanese economy relies on two large sectors: tourism and banking. Due to the heavy competition among banks in Lebanon, and since shareholders of banks aim at preserving and enhancing their organizations ranking among others in terms of profitability, and based on the research-interveners intended field of specialization, which is the banking, the topic "Contribution of SEAM to the banking industry in Lebanon" has been selected for research study. The topic has been studied based on the Socio-Economic Approach to Management (SEAM) (Savall & Zardet, 1987), a behavioral and structural methodology aiming at exploring the six categories of dysfunctions within any organization such as: working conditions; work organization; communication-coordination-cooperation; time management; integrated training; and strategic implementation.
