In recent years, the usage of complex automated processes in industries has been increasing. Complex automation has become an essential part of the manufacturing process, targeting the increasing needs of consumers as well as the competitiveness, and becoming the key factor to the success of the manufactured product. In order to achieve high productivity, automated machines and systems are used to fulfill the role of the human, who has limited working capacity and speed and less effectiveness than a well-designed machine. Moreover, if the product is toxic or cancerous, the need of such machines is obvious. Several sorting, inserting, and transporting systems are indispensable in the present manufacturing industry. These systems include various types of pneumatic, magnetic, and electro-mechanical machines. The guarantee of a smooth and secure processing is a must to keep the production running and maintained. This project consists of fixing a defected "valve transport system", a complex system including various mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components. This system is used to transport valves and insert them on the top of specific bottles in order to fix them later on.en_US
