The residential building in this project is an average building, located in Kousba Al Koura, at 500m above sea level. It is constructed near an old residential building owned by another person. This villa is composed of three levels that can be accessed from two gates. The basement is considered the underground floor. Having an area of nearly 320m2 , it contains the mechanical room, the electrical room, the water tank, the generator room, a gas storage room and a large parking. The parking is accessed through the main road, on the western side of the building. This floor includes one stair and one elevator. The two floors, named as ground floor and first floor are apartments. Each floor contains two apartments of 150 m2 area, accessed by the central elevator and the stairs on the eastern side of the building. The apartments on the western side have the same architectural structure compared to the apartments on the eastern side. On the western side, the main entrance apartment door accesses to a small entrance area. This entrance leads to three different areas of the apartment. On the right side a small corridor leads to the guest bathroom followed by the private bathroom and the three bedrooms. The kitchen is located on the left hand side of the entrance. The dining room and the living room are facing the entrance door. The master bedroom has its own balcony whereas the two other bedrooms are sharing one balcony. The living room has its own balcony too. On the eastern side the main apartment door gives directly access to a small entrance area heading to a living room and a dining room. A small corridor on the right hand side of the entrance leads to a guest bathroom and a kitchen. On the other side, a corridor leads to the private bathroom and bedrooms. The balconies structure is the same as in the western side apartments. The following discussion will focus on the mechanical services systems of the building.en_US
