Abstract: 
The sun is an abundant source of energy that is not being utilized to its maximum potential. The aim of this project is to design and implement an Eshade bench that converts solar energy to electrical energy. This work is a two-phase project. The First phase is the design of the PV system through calculation and simulation. The design should be able to handle and charge four laptops and eight cellphones at the same time without any circuit breakage. In addition, LED lights will be implemented in the ceiling of the bench designed for an ambient illumination. Thus, an output power of 540W is required. The second phase is the implementation of this work that will be conducted in the future. While designing this project several constraints and standards were taken into consideration.
