Abstract:
This project consists of a domestic airport design located in France. Many factors are involved in designing an airport. Moreover, the airport design varies a design aircraft to another. Each element in designing an airport must be designed according to FAA. The design aircraft in our case was Boeing B737-700. According to FAA then, the airport code was C-III. The whole airport structure in general consists of: Runway, taxiway, apron, pavement, and drainage. Designing an airport must be very precise; any simple mistake can lead to big casualties. One very unique aspect about designing an airport is that the study done before construction is the building block of the design and without it no one can proceed.
