dc.description.abstract | At the end of our studies at the University of Balamand, a graduation project must be done by each group of students on a specific topic proposed by the teachers. The topic that we chose and we were assigned is the study of different structural element such as slab, commonly used in Lebanon, basement wall, water tank and columns. The objective of this project was to find redesign the IFLLC without resorting to the prestressed concrete option. Our work is in the following form: In the first chapter, we will present the project and its structural elements. We will summarize in the second, the methods and standards used. In the third chapter, we will present the software used in this project to facilitate our work. In the fourth, we will develop the study of the various systems such as solid slab, columns, basement walls, water tank, stairs, and foundations. In each one we determine the steel ratio and we evaluate the deflection in each beam. Finally, we end with a conclusion that summarizes our work and reflects our opinion on this subject. | en_US |
