dc.description.abstractThis project proposes to analyze a group of arch bridges based on a 'family' of shapes subject to point loading at a distinct number of locations. The analysis will use the curved beam engineering model to identify the moment diagram, deflected shape and support reactions. The study will also experimentally test a few cases by measuring displacements at discrete locations and comparing those with the calculated results.en_US
