This report is presented for the degree of Masters of Science in Civil Engineering at Balamand University. This report studies the effect of ash as an alternative of cement in concrete mixes. Cement was replaced from 5% to 20%of ash in concrete cylinders and beams of 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35MPa strength. We studied the mechanical properties like absorption, compressive strength, density and modulus of rupture.en_US
