dc.description.abstract | This project is about building a deterministic Earth Moving Operation Automated Model Tool EMO-AMTool used to measure the productivity of construction operation. The EMOAMTool identifies the construction process, the identifies the different equipment to be used in the operation with respective capacities, condition and number. The EMO-AMTool evaluates the individual equipment productivities and then evaluates the Operation system productivity, pointing to the optimum productivity and the bottle neck equipment. Finally, the EMO-AMTool suggests, new number of equipment needed in order to reach the optimum operation production. The EMO-AMTool evaluates the cost of the operation as well as the operation duration. The EMO-AMTool is applied to five (5) Lebanese projects. It proved the efficiency of the tool and its usefulness to construction managers and contractors. | en_US |
