This Project has several purposes; the first purpose of this project is to simulate the model of the structure using computer aided software: SAFE and ETABS. The second purpose of this project is to estimate all the different parameters regarding the building structure and to estimate the load and gravity combinations to have a more resilient building that can withstand earthquake. The last purpose is to obtain real value in terms of steel and area for each module according to our design strategy. This project follows an international standard to ensure safety which are ACI-318M-11, UBC97 and ASCE-07. The ACI code deals with concrete standards, the UBC97 deals with earthquake and to ensure that the building will remain intact after the earthquake and to ensure that will be no harm for the people inside the building. The ASCE-07 will help to better estimate the parameters and the loads for the building to build a more robust structure. All steps are described in a clearer and methodological way, so any reader from various background can able to comprehend and follow along the design strategy.en_US
