The project falls within the greater context of green building design. It encompasses the analysis of two energy generating sources: photovoltaic cells and wind turbines; these are the prominent readily available and the most suitable and sustainable sources that one can benefit from. Within the construction field, many researchers integrated green design in order to minimize pollution, maximize energy savings and ultimately save Mother Earth. In Lebanon, this topic is still embryonic and in its incubation phase. The end result of this research is to develop a map that is used for estimating the area of the photovoltaic cell Panels required in each region in Lebanon to generate full load electrical consumption. Moreover, it results in calculating the optimum angle of panels based on the electrical consumption, and estimates the cost and payback period of the whole installation process. A study for wind turbines results in the possibility but inefficiency of generating electricity from the wind in Lebanon.en_US
