dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to report an experimental study performed in order to investigate the compressive strength and splitting tens2ile strength of concrete with partial substitution of the coarse aggregate (gravel) by recycled crushed glass. This experiment is performed by preparing one control mix which consists of conventional concrete and six other mixes with 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% gravel substitution with crushed glass. The compressive strength and flexural strength were measured at days 7, 14, and 28. The results indicated that the compressive strength increased with a 20% replacement and beyond that, it started to decrease. As for the flexural strength, it decreased with increasing glass percent replacement.en_US
