dc.description.abstractBridges are structures with great cost and variable types, where each type has different cost estimation. This is why it is not easy to choose what type of bridge to construct and would still not overpass the owners budget. This project is a technical feasibility study of a bridge in Wata Houb which is part of Batroun-Tannourine highway. Two full designs are made, one using normal reinforced concrete to make a two span bridge 16 meters each according to the French code and standards for bridges, and another one is using precast prestressed concrete girders with cast in situ deck on top to make a 32.8 meter span according to AASHTO LRFD bridge design . First, a model of the reinforced concrete bridge is created using STAAD Pro in order to get the moments and shear. After getting the results from STAAD Pro, a full design is made for the deck, neoprene pads, abutments, counterforts, foundations and piers. Another model is made for the pre-stressed bridge and the same procedure is done. After finishing both designs, an economic feasibility study is done, primavera is used for scheduling and estimating the projects cost. As a result, both types are technically feasible, the reinforced concrete bridge will take 226 calendar days to finish for a cost of 605, 744{dollar} for the precast pre-stressed concrete bridge the duration is 237 calendar days for a cost of 536,501{dollar}.en_US
