Issue Date: 2015
Abstract:
Claus process is a widely used technique for sulfur removal and recovery from natural gas. It has many advantages such as reducing atmosphere pollution from hazardous hydrogen sulfide and a high percentage recovery of sulfur. This project offers a detailed description of the modified Claus process. Also an overview about the catalyst used is provided. This project also provides an experimental part that compares the conventional catalyst used with a new emerging one.
