This is due to the carcinogen, mutagen and toxiccharacteristic of such hydrocarbons. In this study, the implementation of HPLC, following liquid-liquid extraction, hasproven to be a sensitive and a selective analytical method that allows the detection, with UV detector, and thequantification of these compounds in four samples of Lebanese drinking water (Akkar, Tripoli, Kefraya and Beirut). |
