Dr. Maud RIZK is a full-time Senior Lecturer at the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Balamand. She has a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, Masters in Sports Nutrition from Saint-Joseph University, and a PhD in Nutrition and Cancer from Burgundy Franche Comté University, France. She is a clinical dietitian with more than twelve years of experience in her private clinic. Her research is primarily focused on preventing chronic diseases, particularly cancer, through the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and dietary modifications. For the past two years, Dr. Rizk was the head of Nutrition Department at the Lebanese German University, she taught nutrition courses, followed up interns in the hospitals and was involved in several interdisciplinary research project. She also has 7 years of experience as responsible of the dietetic department in 3 different hospitals.
