Biography

Accomplished, dynamic and professional researcher with a PhD in Molecular Medicine (Biomedical Science) from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, USA along with post-doctorate training at Ohio University, USA. In the last 2 years, I have served as a Research Associate at AUB. I have recently landed on a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Balamand.

Honors & Awards

• Prestigious award from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) European Group for the Study of Insulin Resistance (EGIR) – Got the first place in that international competition. Dec 7th 2021

• Awarded a competitive fellowship during my doctoral studies from the Middle-East Diabetes Research Center (MEDRC) at the American University of Beirut, as part of the MOU with the University of Toledo College of Medicine-USA.
