• Received the Lebanese National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) Career Excellence Award for 2018 in recognition of contributions to the field of pain management and palliative care nationally and globally.
• Received the AUB Nurses’ Alumni Chapter Award in 2018, in recognition of her HSON, national, and international nursing achievements.
• Received the Princess Mona Regional Award for Excellence in Nursing for 2017 in recognition of significant contributions to health care across borders, dedication, and leadership in nursing at the regional level, 2017.
• Appointed Honorary Member, International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) for outstanding contribution to the fields of pain research and management, 2016.
• Inducted into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society, 2016.
