Biography
Nay Mezannar is an assistant professor at the University of Balamand in Lebanon in the department of Mechanical Engineering and the acting chairperson of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering department.

After finishing her Master degree in Aeronautical Engineering in SUPAERO (Toulouse-France) along with an internship at Airbus in the Aircraft Performance field, she went back to Lebanon and joined the University of Balamand.
She finished her Ph.D.degree from the University of Bologna (Italy), where she addressed the subject of Innovative Human-Machine Interfaces in Aeronautics, coming to the realization of three applications based on brain machine interface applied in a 3D virtual reality environment.

She is actually an assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University and gives the following courses: Fluid Mechanics, Aircraft Dynamics and Control, Aerodynamics of Flight and, Safety Management Systems for Aeronautical Engineering students; Physics and Basic Aeronautics and Aerodynamics; Human Factors in Engineering for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering students.

In 2013, Nay Mezannar got awarded with the prestigious Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship.
