Biography
Educational Background
After graduating from the University of Balamand with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2009, Dr Macole Sabat completed her graduate studies in Aeronautical specialization also in UOB. Then, she continued her research postgraduate studies in Ecole Centrale Paris in France and obtained her research master’s in applied sciences in the field of aeronautical and aerospace engineering, with high distinction in 2012. Passionate with her post-graduate thesis project on multiphase flow, she pursued her PhD in this domain particularly on Eulerian modelling and numerical methods for the description of turbulent polydisperse sprays. This multidisciplinary topic deals with multiphase flow, turbulence, numerical analysis, combustion, high performance computing, simulation and modelling. Since one of the main applications of this work was the fuel spray in an aeronautical combustion chamber, she obtained additional financial support in her PhD from Safran Aircraft Engines formally known as Safran SNECMA. She had her viva and obtained her PhD in 2016 from the University of Paris-Saclay, Centrale-Supelec, EM2C Laboratory, France.

Educational Experience
Dr Macole Sabat academic journey started early during her studies in UOB where she used to be a tutor of gas dynamics, aerodynamics and statics as part of her student work and graduate assistant tasks. Then during her PhD in Ecole Centrale Paris she gave problem solving sessions in fluid mechanics, applied fluid mechanics and compressible flow simulation. She also supervised the wind tunnel experiments in the Aerodynamics and energy science laboratory course at EM2C. She joined the university of Balamand as a lecturer from January to August 2017 and is currently an assistant professor at the mechanical engineering department. She taught different basic courses related to thermo-fluid and she designed electives related to her specialty.

Professional Experience
At the EM2C Laboratory, CNRS - UPR 288, France she had a research training on the Eulerian modeling and numerical methods for the polydisperse spray description in vortex flows from April to September 2012. Earlier in 2010 she had two months training on airport management and engineering at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Beirut. In 2009, she trained on ULM piloting and constructing a Pitts airplane at the club Les Chiffons Volants, France.
