Biography
Dr Sabine Saba has several years of experience in life cycle assessment, greenhouse gas inventories and climate change, solid waste management, bioenergy, sustainable development, socio-economics, environmental economics and circular economy Dr Saba is a local sustainable development specialist with more than 9 years of experience in supporting local and national authorities in Lebanon, where she worked in close collaboration with authorities and local communities to design and implement projects that aim at improving livelihoods and fighting climate change ; Her specific skills, knowledge and experience include:; - Design of projects, writing of proposals and preparation of budgets; - Implementation and management of development projects; - Life Cycle Assessment; - Needs assessment for local authorities and local communities and capacity building through the design and provision of trainings and the organization of and contribution to workshops; - Climate change, sustainable development, environmental economics, socio-economics, circular economy and bioenergy; - Teaching (Life Cycle Assessment, Greenhouse Gas Inventories, Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Economics)
