Rabih Al Nachar was born in Akkar, North Lebanon, on April 16, 1982. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Balamand, Lebanon, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He started his PhD degree from 2011 to 2014 according to a "Cotutelle" convention between the University of Balamand in Lebanon and University of Versailles-Saint Quentin in France. He is currently working as assistant professor and chairperson of the Telecommunications and Networks department at Issam Fares Faculty of Technology at the University of Balamand. His domain of research is computer vision and image processing where the goal is to develop vision operators for human-machine and machine-environment interactions
