I am an assistant professor in the Nursing Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Balamand, where I have been a faculty member since 2002 Before this, I was a lecturer at the School of Nursing affiliated to Saint Georges Hospital, Beirut and occupied the position of Acting Director; Initially, I am a midwife I have a Master in Maternal and Child Health and DEA from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Dundee, Scotland-UK I have many years of clinical experience in midwifery, providing family centered care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period as well as for the newborn This also includes sexual and reproductive health of women throughout their lifespan ; I am involved in education at the undergraduate and graduate level My area of concentration is Maternal and Child Care, Research Methodology and Leadership and Management in healthcare I am currently in charge of the Master of Science in Nursing I largely contribute to the planning, decision-making, and implementation of strategic and operational activities including curriculum development, strategic planning, budgeting, communication plan, recruitment, etc ; I am certified as an assessor of the Nursing Programs I contributed in workshops at the national and international levels for Accreditation I participated to the assessment of University Programmes in Lebanon; I am actively engaged in community work where I contribute through workshops, seminars and conferences to capacity building of professionals mainly nurses and lay people I provide awareness campaign on health promotion, maintenance and restauration mainly for women I participate in humanitarian activities particularly those related to the blast that took place in Beirut in august 4, 2020 I am one of the founder of “Club Famille”, a non-profit social organization that aims at providing physical and psychosocial assistance to the families ; My research interest is in the field of woman and child health, sexuality, infertility, education, leadership I have many publications and ongoing research projects in these areas I am a reviewer in many international journals ; I am member of national and professional international organizations like the Order of Nurses in Lebanon, the Order of Midwives in Lebanon, the SIDIIEF
